Here's some things you can do to save time and increase your earnings. Don't expect to find some extremely secret recipes here, it's all small stuff that most of us don't think about initially.
Okay so, lets jump straight into it.
Have you ever joined a World Boss instance where the boss was already like 80% HP? Or 50% HP? Just leave it and join again after a few seconds. Did the boss kill you? Leave it and join again.
Now, why you want to do that is the fact that your loot is affected by your damage. The less HP the boss has when you join, the less damage you do. The more you die, the less damage you do.
While a boss gear drop is rare no matter how much damage you do, maximizing your damage can be the difference between getting a blue accessory and getting a purple one, and we all know that selling accessories dropped by World Bosses is one of the easiest way to get Black Pearls for free.
No, I'm not gonna tell you that you can bond with your horse for a bonus effect. What I'm gonna tell you is that, if you hate the long animation for boding, you can just summon your horse again. It will cancel the bonding animation and go straight into the summoning one, which is much shorter.
Summoning your horse will also make you lose all the aggro on mobs so, if you see yourself dying to a pack, just summon your horse.
If for some reason you have enhanced purple accessories and can't manage to sell them on market, you can split them using the Extractor in Camp. For example, a +5 accessory will be split into 6 +0 ones (1 for every plus and 1 for the base). Base purple accessories usually sell pretty fast compared to the enhanced ones.
In some cases, you might even be gaining more Black Pearls by selling individual +0 pieces rather than selling the enhanced one.
Note: Extracting accessories up to +3 doesn't end up in a loss, however, after that point, the enhanced one is generally more valuable than the individual base accessories because of the failure chance starting at +4.
Got a bunch of soulbound Black Stones sitting in your inventory or storage? The smart move would be to keep them until we get higher enhancement caps. However, if you would like to turn those into silver, you can buy a piece of gear (usually yellow because it has max enhancement cap), put all your soulbound stones into that and get it as high as possible, then use the Extractor in Camp to extract your Black Stones. The ones you get back from the extractor can be sold on market as they are not soul bound.
Note: You will only get a portion of the Black Stones back when using the Extractor so, it's up to you to decide if it's worth it in your case
Did someone get on top of you on the spot and you don't want to move? Are you farming violent mobs and don't want to wait for them to respawn? You can change the channel by visiting a friend's Camp then leaving it. The fastest way to do so is to open your Friend List and click the button with a home icon. You can also do it directly from camp, which even allows you to jump to a guild member's camp but, the Friend List option is more straight forward.
Channel changing is not guarantee. To have a higher chance of ending up on a different channel, you should visit the camp of a friend who is online.
You know those special nodes that appear in the Node Manager? While the chance for them to appear is random, it's not all completely random. They have a chance to appear after a task completion. So, if you already have a special node up, I suggest not collection the items/silver from other nodes until you're done collecting the reward from the special one.
Every day you can buy 3 Chicken Soup Chests for 1 Black Pearl each in the Pearl Shop -> Misc -> General Goods. The buff is pretty good to have and it's extremely cheap (you even get 3 Black Pearls per day by praising ranks).
You can skip the amity dialogue instantly by switching to the Gift tab and then back to the Interests tab (GIF). Thanks Dan!
If you need to gather in a zone where there's mobs and they attack you, this will interrupt your gathering. You can prevent that by enabling Auto Combat (GIF). Thanks Dan!
Guild Mileage Quest last for 12 hours and the completion status is reset on server reset. For example, if you do the quest 1 hour before reset, you can do it again after reset, assuming 12 hours didn't pass since the quest was started. So, make sure you do it a time that allows people to bank in the rewards twice.
If you know you're gonna have Hot Time after reset (if you're on EU or America, it's pretty easy because Asia players get it first and you get a heads-up), you should start your Banquette 5-10 minutes before the reset. This way you will benefit from the Hot Time and you can still join the next day as usual.
Note: You will lose one Banquette quest because you'll finish it after the reset, but that's nothing compared to the extra fragments.
